Junior Golf

One of the many great prides of Grants Pass Golf Club is our commitment and support to growing the game of golf to juniors. The smile on a juniors face after a well struck shot or the celebration of a putt holed brings instant joy from a game full of life’s lessons to benefit every junior through adulthood.

Through our Summer Junior Golf Program juniors receive an introduction to the game that goes well beyond the youthful and uninhibited swings and pursuit of the little white ball. Juniors gain social skills with their peers, learn proper etiquette and care for the course and develop fundamentals in all areas of the game while under the care, guidance and direction of our own PGA Professionals on staff.

GPGC JUNIOR GOLF ASSOCIATION

The GPGC Summer Junior Golf Program is open to children and grandchildren, grades 1st – 12th, of Grants Pass Golf Club members. Additional openings may also be available for non-member juniors up to our estimated capacity of 125 total juniors. All junior golf participants must be able to walk and carry their own equipment throughout their activities and play schedule. Juniors receive 7-8 weeks of complimentary instruction/clinics, 7-8 play days, a light breakfast before play and an annual Junior Golf Amenity Pack. Supervision is an important ingredient to our junior program. Parents are strongly encouraged to participate in every junior golf day activity to provide supervision and assistance through many different roles. It shall be required that a family adult to the participating junior provides 3 volunteer commitments at the time of registration or if not possible, pays an additional fee for each missing day.
